SKIN COMPLIANCE ISSUES

As it turns out, the programmers at music match aren't very considerate as regards skin files. If the skin you are trying to use was made before the new upgrade in the program, it may give you an error.

You can try adjusting the "mmtheme.ini" file with notepad and changing the line at the top that reads

[MMJB_Theme_Version]
ThemeVersion=2.0

to

[MMJB_Theme_Version]
ThemeVersion=2.5

And, vice-versa, if you are trying to load a newer skin file on an older version of the program, you can try adjusting the "mmtheme.ini" file with notepad and changing the line at the top that reads

[MMJB_Theme_Version]
ThemeVersion=2.5

to

[MMJB_Theme_Version]
ThemeVersion=2.0

If you are using ".mmz" files and wondering just where the "ini" file is and how to get to it, know this:

".mmz" files are just renamed "zip" archives. Find the file on your hard drive and change it's extension from ".mmz" to ".zip". You may then treat the file like any other ZIP archive. As long as your ZIP archive is extracted to a new folder inside the Music Match "skins" folder, it will operate just like an ".mmz" file.

Although, we can't guarantee that that will work, it has been helpful for most people.
